Resona turns any audio URL into a polished, on-brand player without a build step, a CMS plugin, or a single uploaded file. You point it at the files you already host, build your queue in the dashboard, and paste one <script> tag where you want the player to live.

It ships in three skins so the player matches the moment: classic with a full playlist, mini for a compact bar with no list, and cover for large, centered album art. Whichever you pick, the signature trick is the same — the player extracts the dominant color from your cover art and re-themes its accent to match. Set a fixed accent any time you want to override it.

If you run your own corner of the web — a blog, a band page, a shop, a portfolio — you shouldn't need a developer or a heavyweight platform just to play your tracks. Resona is built for the person who can paste a snippet but doesn't want to wrangle audio libraries, storage buckets, or a framework to get a good-looking player live.

Every existing option asked for a trade. The free embeds were clunky and plastered with someone else's logo. The good-looking ones meant uploading your whole catalog to a platform that owned your audience. And rolling your own meant fighting the HTML5 audio element on every browser and breakpoint.

So we built the player we wanted: one that looks designed, weighs almost nothing, and leaves your files exactly where they are. The cover-art auto-theme came out of a simple wish — that a player should feel like part of the artwork, not a grey box stapled to the bottom of the page. Point it at a track, and it dresses itself in that track's color.

Everything since has followed the same rule: add power for people who want it — synced lyrics, custom skins, analytics, an API — without ever making the simple case any harder. Paste one line, and it just plays.
